Maybe if we give ea an idea for an EP, then they would feel more obligated to make one.
Here are some of mine
-Follow your sim to school/work if desired
-more outdoor activies (ie: sleding, sidewalk chalk, group sports, etc.)
-parents being more parent like and watching out for their children/ doing whats right for them. (i find my parents ignor the children a lot and let them, for example, do homework in the snow, or not do hmwrk at all!)
-have a farm (sheep, cows, horses, chickens, crops.)
do you have any ideas? let me know!!!

it would be nice to see a group of sims play football, etc.
Perhaps add a patch to Apartment Life as witches can use cauldrons to make spells. perhaps have special lots that other sims can go to and meet other witches and learn new spells.
Also turn sims into werewolfs at midnight who protect sims from Vampires.
Creative writing has helped me to make stories about the sims. It is also helping me to make my
own soap to share with you all

The truth is that Electronic Arts doesn't feel obligated to do anything for anyone. There was a Suggest An Idea forum on this BBS. It was taken down, and the reason for that is that EA had already announced that Mansions and Gardens was to be the last Sims 2 product.
A player can already follow their Sims to work and school in The Sims 3; they just can't see inside the workplace and the school. Personally, that is no great loss to me.
Feel free to post all the ideas you want, as long as you understand that EA is not going to act on them. Right now, they are too heavily invested in the Sims 3, which will have its first expansion pack released in ten days.
At that time, Sims3 players will be taking their Sims to France, China, and Egypt on vacation/holiday. They will be able to do martial arts (China), winemaking (France) and tomb-raiding (Egypt mostly, but some in France and China)....and a whole slew of other activities which you can find out about if you google the Sims 3 or check out the website.
But don't expect to see any new Sims 2 stuff. It's not going to happen.

We know that EA wont make another EP but it's nice to think about it. There are some people whose computers can't run the sims 3, like mine, and so we like to think that EA still cares about us. That's what this topic is about.

The OP made the post with the expectation that if EA sees that people are still willing to suggest ideas for another Sims 2 expansion pack, then they'd feel obligated to make a new one.
THAT is what this post is about. It is not about: "Gee, we wish EA would have made these expansion packs."
I understand that there are people who have computers that can't run the Sims 3, and that they enjoy the Sims 2. There are some people who still play the orginal Sims games; yet even they know that EA has long since moved on.
That being the case, why torture yourselves asking for something that will more than likely never happen?

they should make an expansion pack that has custom content on it so the people without it can experience it

Since The Sims 3 for some people doesn't work but has almost every option available out of every Sims game made, they should come out with atleast one more EP that includes having the option of actually walking to another sim's house and going inside and interacting. This idea derives from the sims 3 but It would give alot more players options and still have the sims players playing the games. I know alot of people that stopped playing the game because the sims 2 worked and the sims 3 didnt. Well there....have a ball!! ^^

Yeah it would be so nice if maxis would make more stuff for TS2. I REALLY hate how now that TS3 has come out they're all about that leaving us TS2 lovers in the dust! Like others have said, not all of us have the room on our computers for TS3. I think us TS2 lovers have been GREAT fans. A LOT of us have most of the EP's & Sp's they made. We've spent LOTS of money on TS2 being LOYAL fans and we just get crapped on. But MAYBE if they see how much we really want stuff for TS2 still and are willing to buy it, and how some people were majorly dissapointed with TS3 and how many of us didn't, and won't, switch over maybe, just maybe, they'll make us more stuff. I guess we can dream can't we?!

Just like they did with The Sims1 fans, when TS2 came out they left TS1 behind and didn't look back.
I was part of the TS1 and loved it and was sad to see the end of the series. TS2 did add alot more to the game play such as the life stages. It got tedious to have sims who never aged and only died from accidents and children who didn't grow up lol.
When the next generation comes out the previous generation always get left behind. It is the way it has always been and always will be.

well i support u too ! i got this game last june so i havent had it for long and the only EP i have is nightlife and the only SP i have is celebration stuff and i want to get more EP's rather than buying TS3

I am lucky in a way as i dotn have sp's or nightlife or uni so i suppose i could look forward to those...
But im not sure sp's increase gameplay.

I been thinkng about what could be different if a new EP came out.
The main thing for me is currently when a sim goes downtown with his or her mate, who brings other sims aroud, they can only speak to one sim at a time./
Why don't maxis make a expansion pack that invlolves the group of freinds, listining to your sim, or even parttake in the same play. Ie more than 2 sims can play waterballoon fight, toss ball which can lead onto five a side football. Seeing Sims play togther would make the sims more interesting and maybe try for their local football or cheerkeading team.
