So Dina Caliente was juggling a couple of different lovers, and found herself carrying Don Lothario's child. As soon as she got her baby bump, she waddled over to Mortimer Goth's and told him it was his (Mortimer has a lot more money than Don). So Mortimer married her, and baby Calliope was born a Goth. Mortimer never knew she wasn't his daughter and was a great father until he died of old age right before Calliope became a toddler.
So one of the things that Dina brought with her when she moved to Mortimer's was the urn with Michael Batchelor's remains. She put the grave underneath one of the trees in the front yard. The Goth and Crumplebottom ghosts have been out and about almost every night, but I hadn't seen Michael's until just now. And boy, does he have some issues!
He used to come out and haunt at Dina and Nina's, and occasionally scare someone, but he was never talking or thinking about anything in particular -- he just sort of floated around. Now, at the Goth's, he floats around with an angry look on his face, with a red jagged Family Aspiration balloon above his head. Every so often, he stops and yells simlish in a really creepy voice, and the speech bubble is a picture of Bella Goth's face. Immediately after that, he has a thought bubble of little Calliope (who is now a child), with a red x through her face. Occasionally he smashes a fist into his hand or cracks his knuckles.
I can't figure out what he's on about. Does he miss Bella (he didn't before, when he haunted Dina and Nina's house)? Is he angry that Dina had a baby that wasn't his (but then why is he yelling about Bella)? Does it bother him that Bella's true love "had a baby" with someone else (why would he care)? Or is he upset that Bella's true love thought he had a baby when it was really someone else's (again, why would he care)?
Any ideas? I'm not quite sure what to make of it.
